Udhav Krishna/Patna. ,You must have heard this famous couplet of Saint Kabirdas. This couplet suits the sons of 70 year old Sitaram Kulfi Wale, originally from Aurangabad district. In fact, Sitaram himself trained his sons to make different types of Kulfi. The result was that today, under the guidance of their father, his sons have made Sitaram Kulfi a brand in Patna.
There is a Sitaram Kulfi stall in Khao Gali, just in front of the planetarium. He tells that initially he used to make and sell Kulfi in front of Victoria Hall in Kolkata for 13 years. In those days, I learned to make kulfi of different types of fruits from experts. Then in the year 2002, he started his work in Patna. Sitaram, father of six children, says that he got a lot of progress because of this work of Kulfi. Thanks to this he took land, built a house and educated all the children till graduation. Now his three sons are carrying forward his work. Special kulfi with rabri, stick kulfi, paan kulfi and orange kulfi are sold extensively at Sitaram ji’s stall. Sitaram tells that he also gets a lot of orders in the ascendant. This earns good income. If Sitaram is to be believed, his three sons are engaged in the Kulfi business. While two children are still studying. Whereas, a son lives in the village and does farming.
Price starts from Rs 40
Rohit tells that his guru is father Sitaram. It is because of him that today the Kulfi business is going very well. Rohit tells that he has different types of Kulfi. Among them, most people like Rabri Wali Kulfi. At the same time, they keep a separate sugar free kulfi for diabetic people. Let us tell you that the price of Kulfi here starts from Rs 40, which goes up to Rs 80. Rohit further tells that apart from Khao Gali, his other brother also runs a stall in Boring Road.
